Ed knows ISO 45001 inside and out. He was on the team that put it all together using international health and safety standards to guide them along the way. He co-chairs Fisher Phillips’ Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group, as well — making him an expert for strategically leading Fisher Phillips Safety Solutions. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, Ed was the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health. Named by President George W. Bush to head the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), he served from April 2006 to November 2008.

Ed brings more than 30 years of experience in the labor and employment area, focusing on occupational safety and health issues, workplace violence risk assessment and prevention, whistleblower protection, and accident and fatality prevention.

Todd Logsdon is a partner in the firm’s Louisville office and co-chair of the firm's Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Practice Group. His practice is devoted to advising and representing employers regarding labor and employment law matters.

Todd is regarded as a leader on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issues including contesting and litigating OSHA citations, representing employers during OSHA inspections/investigations, conducting OSHA compliance audits, defending whistleblower/retaliation claims as well as providing OSHA compliance advice to clients.

Travis is a partner in the firm’s Charlotte office and co-chair of the firm's Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group. He has tried matters across several industries and various subject matters, including employment litigation, business disputes and matters prosecuted by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Steve Davis

Over the past 35 years in management consulting, Steve has directed, managed, and participated in major risk management consulting engagements for clients in Latin America, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and the Pacific Rim. These engagements have included clients in property management, construction, banking, automotive manufacturing, power generation, pharmaceutical, biotech, and data center industries. Client size includes the Fortune 100 to midsize companies.​

Steve has also acted as Practice Leader for the Risk Management Consulting Practice for a major professional services firm in the U.S. in addition to managing and directing risk management consulting operations for insurance companies. Steve also serves as President & Risk Manager for a manufacturing firm in Atlanta.
